Project Description

20 Old Firehouse Road is a key parcel in downtown Naugatuck, CT that is part of a major transit-oriented redevelopment initiative known locally as Parcel B. The site is being transformed from a large underutilized lot into a mixed-income, mixed-use community featuring residential apartments and commercial space. The first phase of the project will deliver approximately 60 mixed-income apartments with integrated ground-floor retail, with future phases planned to expand the development to a total of 180 new apartments and over 7,000 sq ft of commercial space. This redevelopment is designed to complement improvements to the nearby Metro-North Waterbury Branch rail service, including a new train station adjacent to the site, enhancing connectivity and supporting downtown revitalization.
