Project Description

556 Westport Avenue in Norwalk, CT 06851 is a mixed-use residential development consisting of 136 apartment units with approximately 6,800 square feet of ground-floor retail space near the Norwalk–Westport border. Situated on approximately 5.2 acres assembled from multiple properties along Westport Avenue and Renzulli Road, the four-story building includes a mix of studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, with 10% of the units designated as workforce affordable housing. The development features a structured parking garage, extensive native landscaping, walking trails, a dog run, and modern stormwater management systems. Designed to revitalize a former commercial site while complementing the surrounding neighborhood, the project provides new housing, neighborhood-serving retail space, and enhanced pedestrian connectivity along the Westport Avenue corridor.
