Project Description

2980 State Street in Hamden, CT 06517 is a new construction affordable housing development consisting of 64 rental apartment units across three residential buildings on approximately 4.9 acres. The community includes a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, with all units designated as affordable to households earning between 30% and 60% of the Area Median Income. The development also includes 16 supportive housing units, common gathering areas, laundry facilities, management offices, and 84 parking spaces. In addition to the residential component, the project includes a Community Hub for local nonprofit organizations and pedestrian and streetscape improvements along State Street, contributing to neighborhood revitalization and expanded access to affordable housing in Hamden.
