Project Description

55 Kondracki Lane in Wallingford, CT 06492 is an adaptive reuse affordable housing development that will transform the former Quinnipiac Valley Center skilled nursing facility into a residential community consisting of 66 affordable apartment units. Rather than new construction, the project preserves and repurposes the existing building, converting the vacant property into long-term affordable housing. Developed by Honeycomb Real Estate Partners and Montagno Construction, the redevelopment is designed to provide housing opportunities for households across a range of income levels while revitalizing an underutilized property and addressing Wallingford’s need for additional affordable housing. The project received a state determination in 2026 allowing the redevelopment to move forward without requiring a formal Environmental Impact Evaluation.
